 About

I am a Denver-based (but New Mexico raised) artist, designer, photographer and crafter.

PictureGrandpa, Grandma, Dad, 2012.
As a photographer, I am passionate about making pictures using traditional darkroom methods and capturing the sunlight's interaction in my everyday life. In addition to making photographs, you can find me painting, drawing, sewing Star Trek - The Next Generation character ornaments and using crepe paper to create realistic floral arrangements.

I have experience working with museums and galleries including Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, Denver Art Museum, Museo De Las Americas, Colorado Photographic Arts Center and Sandra Phillips Gallery in Denver as well as the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego. From 2012 to 2021 at Kirkland Museum, I gained knowledge of Modern design movements as well as Colorado artists through researching and writing exhibition text, leading tours for the public and training volunteers during my time as the Education & Volunteer Services Manager.

In 2011 I received my BFA in Studio Art and am currently pursuing a Graphic Design certificate to expand my knowledge and skills of design software and typography.

Incorporating social justice values into my life and work is important to me. When not working, I'm thrifting for vintage treasures, working to reduce my plastic consumption, practicing Spanish and planning our fruit and vegetable garden for the next season.

I look forward to speaking with you!
